The Livingston County Association of REALTORS is once again sponsoring the annual Fill the Gazebo Food Drive to benefit Gleaners Community Food Bank in Livingston County. Due to the success of this event we have found it beneficial to have a presence in Brighton, Howell, Pinckney and Hartland.

Remember that this is a time of year that kids will be out of school and more meals are needed at home. Many of these parents have lost jobs, did not receive child support, had work hours cut back, etc.

We are still in need of REALTOR and Affiliate members that are interested in giving back to their communities and volunteering on Saturday, May 5th in grocery stores in Brighton, Howell, Pinckney, and Hartland. LCAR members will also be needed to stand in Brighton and Howell downtown locations collecting donations for the Gleaners Community Food Bank. If you are not available to volunteer you can still impact your community by making a donation to Gleaners.

All donations stay here in Livingston County to help feed your neighbors

The 9th annual Fill the Gazebo event this past May collected 5,386 pounds of food and raised $10,835, equaling a grand total of 36,648 meals for hungry neighbors in Livingston County.

Each year, the Livingston County Association of Realtors works hard to raise enough food and money to provide one semi-truck load of food for Gleaners to help provide children with nutritious food when the school lunch program ends for the summer.
